Efe Ekhaese is a senior leader in the healthcare sector, with deep domain expertise spanning medical devices and diagnostics, pharma services, life science tools, and pharmaceuticals. As a key member of the global practice, he advises boards, CEOs, and investors on executive leadership across private equity-backed and publicly traded companies, particularly those navigating strategic inflection points, transformation, or accelerated growth. Ekhaese brings over two decades of international leadership experience across Europe and the United States, with a strong track record of building and scaling high-performing global organizations. Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, he was head of Healthcare for North America at a leading global executive search boutique, where he played an instrumental role in the firm’s expansion. In that role and previously as head of the European practice, he became a trusted strategic advisor to top-tier private equity firms—guiding talent strategy for pre-deal assessments, driving value creation through executive team buildouts, and leading board and C-suite searches. Earlier in his career, Ekhaese worked for Financial Dynamics (part of FTI Consulting), where he provided strategic communications advice to global public companies. He holds an MA in politics, philosophy, and economics from the University of Oxford.
